Use the desk from Claude or ChatGPT
Give your assistant the Flash Desk API. It reads your facility, simulates drawings against live chain state, explains every refusal and revert in plain terms, and prepares the authorised transaction. You sign it. Both kits drive the same API your own integration uses, under your own key.
- Reads your headroom, open authorisations and the fee rate on your next drawing
- Simulates a drawing as often as you like. A simulation reserves nothing
- Sets
minProfitfrom the rate that will actually be signed - Requests an authorisation after you confirm, and hands you the transaction
- Explains each refusal code and on-chain revert, with the numbers behind it
- Sign or send a transaction
- Ask for, hold or use your wallet keys
- Trade on its own, or authorise in a loop
An authorisation works only from your own address. Each one reserves part of your facility until you use it or it expires. So the assistant prepares, and you decide.
Claude
Connect, sign in, no key
Add the desk to Claude as a connector and sign in with your desk account. Claude can then read your facility and simulate drawings live, with no key in the conversation.
- Open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, and paste:
https://mcp.atomicexchange.cloud/mcp
- Claude opens our sign-in page on
mcp.atomicexchange.cloud. Sign in with your desk username and password, and your authenticator code if you use one.
Or install the skill, for Claude Code
A Claude skill: instructions, an API and error reference, and a small helper script with no dependencies. Claude loads it whenever you work on a drawing, and calls the desk from your own environment.
- Unzip the file into your skills folder:
unzip atomic-flash-desk.zip -d ~/.claude/skills/
- Put your desk key in the environment Claude runs in. Don't paste it into a chat.
export ATOMIC_DESK_API_KEY=afd_…
- Ask something like “check my facility and simulate this drawing”. Claude calls the desk directly.
Or the skill in the Claude apps, for preparing requests
- Open Settings → Capabilities. Under Skills, upload the zip.
- In chat, the skill prepares each request and reads the result you paste back. Your key never goes into the conversation.
ChatGPT
Connect as an app: sign in, no key
Add the desk to ChatGPT as an app and sign in with your desk account. ChatGPT can then read your facility and simulate drawings. It holds no key and cannot prepare or send a drawing.
- In ChatGPT, open Settings → Apps and turn on Developer mode under the advanced settings. It is available on paid plans, and the labels can differ slightly between versions.
- Create an app named Atomic Flash Desk with this server URL and OAuth authentication:
https://mcp.atomicexchange.cloud/mcp
- ChatGPT opens our sign-in page on
mcp.atomicexchange.cloud. Sign in with your desk username and password, and your authenticator code if you use one.
Or build a Custom GPT that can also prepare drawings
A Custom GPT that you build in your own ChatGPT account from our instructions and API schema. ChatGPT calls the desk directly, and asks you before every authorisation.
- In ChatGPT, open GPTs → Create → Configure. Paste the instructions into Instructions.
- Under Actions → Create new action, choose Import from URL:
https://atomicexchange.cloud/agents/chatgpt/openapi.yaml
- Authentication: API Key, auth type Bearer. Paste your desk key there, and only there.
- Privacy policy:
https://atomicexchange.cloud/privacy - Save it as Only me.
How a drawing goes, with an assistant
Before you start
| You need | Where it comes from |
|---|---|
A desk API key (starts afd_) | Issued with an accepted facility. Apply for access if you don’t have one. |
| Your facility’s sending address | Fixed at onboarding. Only that address can use an authorisation issued to you. |
| Nothing, to try it | The health and networks routes are public. Ask your assistant which chains and assets the desk serves before adding a key. |
If you think a key has been exposed, contact the desk and we will replace it. A key cannot move funds. It can only request authorisations for your own address, within your facility.
